SOUTHERN FORESTS & VALLEYS

Inside the Episode

Western Australia conjures imagery of white sandy beaches or sparse arid deserts that stretch for thousands of kilometers but after this week's episode, you’ll be thinking of lush forests, a region bursting with fresh produce and epic mountain biking. This week Deetz and Vandy head to the southwest pocket of WA to a region called the Southern Forests and Valleys. This area is dotted with magical little towns, most of them connected by the Munda Biddi Trail, Bibbulmun track, or fantastic roads for a road ride or a drive. Deetz and Vandy check out some unique attractions to the region, such as climbing a 53 metre tree; check out beautiful restaurants and wineries, and meet some of the friendliest locals of anywhere.
